
Duncan McCuaig
Duncan McCuaig is Executive Vice President, Director of Leasing of the U.S. Office Division at Brookfield Properties as well as a member of the New York leadership group. Duncan and his team are directly responsible for the leasing and revenue generation of Brookfield’s New York City Office portfolio, which comprises 28 million square feet of Class A / Trophy office space with an aggregate value of $23.3B.
Duncan has led lease negotiations with some of Brookfield’s largest tenants, including Morgan Stanley for 1.3M square feet at One New York Plaza, Skadden, Arps, EY, the NHL, and Accenture at One Manhattan West for 1.7M square feet, Cravath, KPMG, and D.E Shaw at Two Manhattan West for 1.3M square feet. He has also played a significant role in the redevelopment and leasing of 5 Manhattan West and 660 Fifth Avenue to tenants such as Amazon, JP Morgan Chase, and Macquarie. Duncan also oversees the leasing at Brookfield‘s premier New York City asset, Brookfield Place.
Prior to joining Brookfield in 2006, Duncan spent 10 years with Cushman & Wakefield as a landlord and tenant representative broker in New York City.
Duncan received a bachelor’s degree from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker and a member of The Real Estate Board of New York. He is also active with other New York institutions such as, the American Heart Association, Gift of Life, and The United Way. Duncan resides with his wife Nancy in New York City and is the proud father of two adult daughters, Morgan, and Taylor who both work in Real Estate in New York City.
